As an owner-run, medium-sized enterprise, we set great store by highly personal customer service coupled with the decades of experience we bring to every project. A stance greatly valued by our many customers in the medical-technology, automobile and food packaging industries.

We develop and supply batches for even the most unusual applications, and in volumes ranging from the smallest sample quantities up to 1,000 tonnes. We have over 300,000 colour formulas at our disposal and,
thanks to the repetition accuracy of our
manufacturing processes, we can
continue to supply the same formula
over a period of many years.

Heinrich Treffert Senior founded the
company in 1928 as a business importing
and exporting raw and process materials
for the rubber, plastics, paint and chemical
industries. Karl Josef Treffert and
Brigitte Jansen then worked together to
transform the enterprise into a master
batch manufacturer.
In 1992 Karl Josef Treffert established the
independent company Treffert S.A.S. as a legally independent entity in Sainte-Marie-aux-Chênes, France.

In 2007, a new generation took the helm in the shape of Heinrich Treffert Junior. Today he heads the company as the third generation of the Treffert family, whose very name is synonymous with the quality of our products.
